Hours: Full time, permanent. Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to be the commercial growth engine of the Marketing team. You will drive measurable, sustainable business growth through data-driven and performance-led marketing strategies. The role owns the full patient lifecycle – acquisition, conversion, retention, referral and reactivation – with a strong focus on maximising ROI and customer lifetime value.
Working in close partnership with the Marketing Technology Lead, this role ensures marketing strategies, technology, data and digital experiences which are tightly aligned to deliver scalable growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership
Own and continuously optimise the end-to-end patient lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, retention, referral, and reactivation
Build and execute comprehensive growth strategies informed by patient insights, performance data, and business objectives
Identify and prioritise growth opportunities across channels, journeys, and touchpoints
Digital & Technology Collaboration
Partner closely with the Marketing Technology Lead to drive growth through innovative digital marketing and technology solutions
Collaborate on CRO, experimentation, landing page optimisation, tracking, and attribution
Ensure marketing requirements are translated into effective, scalable digital experiences
Performance Marketing & Campaign Management
Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of performance-based marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and other digital channels
Drive a test-and-learn culture to improve acquisition efficiency and conversion rates
Ensure campaigns align with overall growth, brand, and business objectives
Data, Insights & Optimisation
Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across growth and performance marketing activities
Use insights to inform strategy, budget allocation, and campaign optimisation
Work with digital and analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking and performance measurement
Budget & ROI Management
Own and manage the paid marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation to maximise ROI
Monitor spend and performance against targets and forecasts
Provide recommendations for scaling, pausing, or reallocating investment
Team Leadership & Development
Line manages the Direct Marketing Manager and Marketing Executives
Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations
Coach, develop, and support team members to build high-performing growth capability
Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Retention, Referral & Reactivation
Lead the development and execution of referral and loyalty programmes to drive advocacy and increase lifetime value
Develop and implement strategies to re-engage inactive or churned patients
Partner with email and lifecycle teams to support personalised and automated retention initiatives
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with creative, content, digital, and product teams to develop compelling, high-performing marketing assets
Act as a key growth partner to senior stakeholders, aligning marketing activity with business priorities
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Deliver regular, insightful performance reports to the senior management team
Highlight key metrics, trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, platforms, and technologies

What We're Looking For
Significant experience in a performance or growth marketing role with proven commercial impact
Demonstrable success managing paid media budgets and delivering measurable ROI
Strong expertise across paid search, paid social, display and digital acquisition channels
Excellent understanding of attribution models, tracking, and performance analytics (GA4, tag management, conversion tracking)
Experience optimising conversion funnels and driving CRO initiatives
Strong budget management and forecasting capability
Proven experience line managing and developing high-performing teams
Experience reporting to senior stakeholders with clear, insight-led performance reporting
Strong understanding of full lifecycle marketing (acquisition through to retention and reactivation)
Evidence of delivering scalable growth through data-driven marketing strategies
Experience improving customer lifetime value and reducing cost per acquisition
Track record of implementing test-and-learn frameworks to improve performance
