Aminoor Rahman - Hearing Aid Audiologist

  • Before joining Leightons, I was unsure about moving into the private sector—I kept asking myself, “Should I? Shouldn’t I? I just don’t know.” Then I came across Leightons and saw they offer 90-minute appointment times. That really stood out. At university, we’re taught how to deliver the best care—how to support patients, how to apply clinical knowledge—but in the NHS, I often felt like I couldn’t put all that into practice. It sometimes felt like I couldn’t do everything I knew I could as an Audiologist.

  • At Leightons, that changed. The way we’re able to support patients really made a difference to me. I finally had the time to give each person the best clinical care possible—to really sit down, understand their concerns, and explain things in a way that reassures them. Because hearing loss is a long, sometimes daunting journey. And now I know I’m giving them the support they truly need.
