I joined Leightons because I wanted to expand the clinical services I could offer and provide high-quality, tailored patient care. With technology such as Optomap, OCT, digital slit lamps, corneal topography and colourimetry equipment, plus a wide range of products, I feel I can meet my patients’ needs and go beyond their expectations. I enjoy offering specialist dry eye services and contact lenses. Training is readily available through the Leightons Learning Suite and our CPD events. I enjoy working in a team to deliver the best customer/patient experience and don’t want to feel isolated professionally.

At Leightons you don’t feel alone, there is guidance from the network of colleagues on The Scrip, our internal website, sharing successes and case studies, and includes guidance in all aspects of the business. The Clinical Services Team are on hand to help, encouraging further development. I have been supported in completing my Independent Prescribing Qualification and had the opportunity to join the Clinical Services Team to provide mentoring and support to my colleagues.
