Jessica Owen - Hearing Aid Audiologist

  • I wanted to work for Leightons because I had heard so many great things from other Audiologists about the way the company treats both their staff and their customers. What I have found really great working for Leightons is that we are given an appropriate amount of time to carry out a thorough hearing assessment where we can really get to know the patient and their needs, while still being able to carry out a full test range. For most first-time assessments we include speech unaided and aided testing, allowing the patient to see how hearing aids can provide a benefit to them on their first visit.

  • I felt that Professional Services really took the time in our induction process not just to introduce us to Leightons way of doing things and computer systems, but to help us develop to be better Audiologists. This support has continued beyond the induction period and we have regular group training, both through video calls and in person. As part of the induction process, I spent time in stores with lots of other Audiologists which helped to develop a network of support and integrate into the team.
